CURRY BREAD
Curry flavored bread.
Toppings are boiled egg, broccoli, fried onion, cheese and pepper.
Hi Wao, I am interested in this method. I want to use a tomato from my garden. I don't want to throw anything away. Can I make yeast water with less water and use all of it in one loaf of bread? Can I grind up the whole tomato into the yeast water? Thanks, Paul PS Your baking is beautiful.
Thank you so much for this blog! I recently saw a program called Tudor Feast, which is available via bittorrent at thebox.bz, and it mentioned that you could get dough to rise by setting it under an apple tree, because apples have natural yeast. I don't have a tree, but I do have a bowl of apples so I went looking for a method and found your blog. It's great! Thank you so much for sharing.

Hi, Paul
ReplyDeleteYes.
You can use chopped tomatoes when you make your yeast water and also when you knead dough.
Sorry for the late response.
Hi, Lili
ReplyDeleteOh!
I did not know anybody actually introducing this method on TV.
That's exciting to hear people trying this way of making bread.
Some people make yeast water simply for drinking purpose too.
